The NTB Prosecutor's Office Calls The Reconstruction Of The Agus Bentung Case For Improvement Of Evidence
The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) High Prosecutor's Office explained that the reconstruction of the alleged sexual harassment case with a disability suspect without the initials IWAS alias 'Agus jalant' was part of the improvement of evidence in the case file.
"Actually, at the beginning of our reading of the case file, we from the prosecutor actually had confidence that this file had fulfilled the elements of the alleged article," said Head of the NTB Attorney General's Office Enen Saribanon in Mataram, Monday, December 16, as quoted by Antara.
However, he continued, to further improve, so that this can be optimal in prosecuting, his party needs additional evidence, one of which is through reconstruction.
Therefore, his party was also present in the reconstruction of the IWAS suspect case on Wednesday, December 11 in three different locations.
"So, when we carried out the reconstruction, we were there to add or complete the information and evidence that was already in the case file," he said.

The reconstruction activity of the alleged sexual harassment case was in Mataram City on Wednesday, December 11. There are three reconstruction locations that are part of the alleged criminal act of the IWAS suspect.
The first location is in Taman Udayana and the second is in the outskirts of the Islamic Center. The two locations are suspected of being the introduction and the suspect's efforts to attract the victim's attention.
The third location is in one of the inns suspected of being where the suspect has sex with the victim.
This reconstruction was held by NTB Police investigators by presenting an Inafis team, the prosecutor's office, women and children observer institutions, as well as IWAS suspects with the assistance of a legal team.
Also present were the Deputy Chief of the NTB Police Brigadier General Pol. Ruslan Aspan along with a number of the main officials of the NTB Police. Also present was an internal supervisory team from the Itwasum Police Headquarters.
The reconstruction, which lasted about 3 hours, was played with 49 scenes. The IWAS suspect was presented by investigators without wearing prison clothes.
