IPhone 17 Air Is Not As High As The IPhone Pro Model

JAKARTA Apple will release the iPhone 17 Air model next year. Although the launch is still quite long, some leaks about this device have emerged, ranging from design to body size.

The latest report from the Wall Street Journal reveals the estimated price of this latest phone. Previously, many suspected that the iPhone Air model would be the most expensive device, even estimated to be much more expensive than the Pro Max model.

However, sources familiar with the development of this phone say that the iPhone 17 Air will be a cheaper device than Pro and Pro Max types. Even though it's cheaper, Apple will make this device much thinner than the standard iPhone and Pro models.

Reportedly, the iPhone 17 Air will have a profile of about 8 millimeters. To reduce production costs, Apple has simplified the system on its camera. It is not yet known how much the camera difference between the Air model and the Pro Max model is.

If you look at the iPhone 16 series that has been released, the price of the iPhone Air may be the equivalent of the iPhone 16 Plus. The iPhone 16 Pro is sold starting at a price of 999 US dollars (Rp15.9 million), while the iPhone 16 Plus is sold for 900 US dollars (Rp14.4 million).

Although not as good as the Pro model, the iPhone 17 Air may have its own market. Apple is developing this device specifically for users who want to have features better than the standard model with a slimmer phone size.

It is not known if there are other components, apart from the camera, that Apple will reduce to make the device not as expensive as the iPhone Pro. The reason is, Apple is betting big enough to keep the scam size so that the device looks more attractive.
