West Sumatra Governor: Padang-Pekanbaru Toll Road Section I Completed Eid 2024
West Sumatra (West Sumatra) Governor Mahyeldi said the construction of the Padang-Pekanbaru Toll Road Section I Padang-Sicincin is targeted to be completed before Lebaran 2024.
"The Sicincin toll road in 2024 before Lebaran is clear (completed). It is hoped that it can be used," Mahyeldi said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 24.
He said that regarding the land acquisition process, so far there have been no obstacles. The construction is also ongoing.
"For this toll road, we are coordinating with the Ministry of PUPR. Currently in the regions there are no obstacles. Now we just have to wait for the PUPR Ministry to come, we have prepared a team," said Mahyeldi.
Regarding the continuation of the Padang-Pekanbaru Toll Road construction in the next section, especially those passing through Limapuluh Kota Regency, according to him, have also begun to be discussed.
