Indonesia Sets A Target For The General Champion At World Skills ASEAN 2023 Singapore
JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower, Ida Fauziyah said, Indonesia has set a target to become the overall champion in the implementation of the World skills ASEAN (WSA) or the skills competition between ASEAN member countries in Singapore this year.
This was conveyed by Ida while attending the 13th opening on Saturday, July 23.
The 13th WSA will be held from 23 to 27 July 2023.
"This presence is to encourage the nation's best sons and daughters to compete in this biennial event," he said in an official statement, Sunday, July 23.
"We are optimistic that Indonesia will again win the overall champion as achieved at the 9th Worldskills ASEAN in Jakarta 2012," continued Ida.
Ida said, in 13th WSA there were 22 vocational skills that were competed and Indonesia took part in 18 vocational parties which would be competed with 2 participants each.
The 18 vocational include Mechanics, Electronics, Mobile Robotics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Industrial Automation, Automobile Technology, Fashion Technology, Restaurant Service, Beauty Therapy, Hairressing, and Mechanical Engineering CAD.
