3 Perpetrators Of Youth Persecution To Death Arrested By Karawang Police

Karawang Police officers arrested three perpetrators of abuse of a teenager to death in the Jatisari District, Karawang Regency, West Java, Sunday (16/7).

"Within less than 24 hours after the incident, three perpetrators of stabbing the victim with the initials HS (17) were finally arrested," said Head of the Karawang Police Satreskrim AKP Arief Bustomy as reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 17.

The three arrested perpetrators had the initials RPM (21), RP (16) and RR (17).

From the arrest, the police confiscated evidence in the form of a sickle with a length of 87 centimeters and a motorcycle.

According to him, the case of abuse by three perpetrators against a teenager with the initials HS occurred in the early hours of Sunday (16/7) at around 02.00 WIB in Sukamaju Hamlet, Jatisari Village, Jatisari District, Karawang.

Three perpetrators carried out mistreatment using sharp weapons together against the victim with the initials HS.

The incident began when three perpetrators passed by and felt stones by the victim's group.

"Then these perpetrators plan to attack the victim's group. The two perpetrators carry sharp weapons and one perpetrator is watching," he said.

Arriving at the location, the perpetrators met the victim who was about to refuel and immediately attacked the victim with a sharp weapon.

"The victim suffered injuries to his back, chest, and hands until he finally died," said Kasatreskrim.

During the examination, the perpetrators felt hurt because they were thrown by stones by the victim's group and intended to take revenge using sharp weapons.

The perpetrator slashed the victim repeatedly using a sickle so that the victim suffered lacerations to the left hand and open wounds to the chest.

"The victim died when he was about to be taken to Puri Asih Hospital," he said.

As a result of their actions, the three perpetrators were subject to Article 80 paragraph 3 of the Child Protection Law and Article 170 junto Article 56 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 15 years in prison.
