The Contribution Of The TNI's Indo RDB Task Force In Solving The Inter-Suster War In Congo
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Rapid Deployable Battalion (Indo RDB) Kong MONUSCO, which is carrying out a peace mission, helped overcome the inter-tribal conflict that occurred in Idohu Village, Congo Afrika, on Saturday last weekend.
The incident began when 24 personnel from the Indo RDB Task Force under the command of Major Arh Adi Surya patrolled using two Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) on the RN4 road to Idohu Village. They heard gunshots from the direction of Idohu Village (northeast). Major Arh Adi Surya then ordered the Indo RDB patrol team to carry out monitoring using drones, and found traces pointing east in the bushes. They then decided to take action and approach the armed group.
During the patrol, the RDB Indo Task Force managed to arrest four residents of Idohu Village who were suspected of being involved in the incident. In addition, they also found three firearms and several traditional weapons in the form of poison arrows.

The conflict involved the Lesse tribe (which is in the northern region) and the Nande tribe (which is in the southern region) who are both residents of Idohu Village. This violent incident resulted in one civilian being shot dead and one motorbike burning. After the incident, the chief of the Lesse tribe was detained by local FARDC personnel in Idohu Village.
