The Emperor Of Japan Will Visit, TWC Changes The Operational Hours Of Borobudur Temple
JAKARTA PT Taman Wisata Borobudur Temple, Prambanan and Ratu Boko as managers of the Borobudur Temple Tourism Park destination will change the operating hours of visits for tourists. The reason is, Borobudur Temple will be visited by a guest of the awareness, namely the Emperor of Japan Narohito and the Queen of Masako.
On Thursday, June 22, the Borobudur Temple Tourism Park area was closed to tourist visits on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 06.00 to 10.00 WIB. The closure is carried out in all areas, from the parking area to the Borobudur Temple I zone.
The tourist visit service will also be reopened after the entourage of Emperor Narohito and Queen Masako complete their visit after 10.00 WIB.
TWC President Director, Febrina Intan said various preparatory steps were taken to create a conducive atmosphere on this state visit. Several of them are intensively coordinating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy.
"TWC is actively involved in coordinating with various parties, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy to oversee things that need to be prepared both before the visit and while in the destination," Febrina said in an official statement, Wednesday, June 21.
Through the visit of the Emperor of Japan Narohito and the Queen of Masako, PT TWC hopes that there will be an increase in foreign tourist activity to Borobudur Temple.
"Hopefully the influence of this visit can be followed by an increase in foreign tourist visits to Borobudur Temple and other local destinations," concluded Febrina.
