WhatsApp Coming Soon To The Video-Based Message Send Feature

JAKARTA - WhatsApp has again innovated by presenting the ability to send messages in the form of short videos. This feature is now available in beta.

According to a WABetaInfo report, reported Monday, June 19, this new feature works exactly as when a user sends an audio-based message, where WhatsApp adds a button with the camera icon next to the microphone icon button.

To send a video message, the user must tap and hold the video button, then the app will record a video message with a maximum duration of 60 seconds.

Automatically, video messages will be sent after the applicant removes his finger. Apparently, users can also swipe up to lock the record, so there is no need to keep pressing the button.

If you want to cancel it or delete it, the user can swipe it to the left. It should be noted, the video message sent will be encrypted end-to-end.

Indian Express claims, currently video messages cannot be forwarded to others, but users can share them using the screen recording application first.

Now, the feature is visible on WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.12.0.71 and Android 2.23.13.4. It is claimed, will be available in the next few weeks for users globally.
