Terima Mahasiswa, Ganjar Pranowo Berbagi Cerita Falls Ke Dunia Politik

SEMARANG - Dozens of students who are members of the Indonesian Political Sciences Student Association (Himapol) met Ganjar Pranowo at the official residence of the Governor of Central Java, Wednesday night, June 14. Their arrival was to 'come' to study political science with Ganjar Pranowo.

The meeting with Governor Ganjar Pranowo became a series of activities for the 8th Himapol Indonesia which was holding the 8th National Evaluation Meeting (Ravelnas), in Semarang. The State Islamic University (UIN) Walisongo hosted it.

The meeting lasted about an hour. On that occasion, Ganjar Pranowo shared his experience when he entered politics. To the students, Ganjar told that he had been involved in politics since the students.

"When I was your age I had joined the party. Everyone is cynical, thank God I have never changed, being abused never changes. So dare to take an unpopular one, because usually people are afraid of not being popular," said Ganjar.

The PDI-P politician said that this year is a momentum for students to actively participate. Political science students, said Ganjar, can participate in maintaining a multi-polar political situation.

"So it is important to invite the younger generation, especially these young intellectuals, to be able to contribute, understand too, to be moral guards," he said after the event.

Ganjar said, in the context of this political year young intellectuals can take a role in educating, so that people are aware of the dangers of hoaxes and do not carry out negative campaigns.

"That in my opinion, how can we keep this democratic process going well and the involvement of these young people in my opinion is so important because they have ideas, have idealism, have sufficient and very creative knowledge," he said.

Although there is limited time, Ganjar hopes that the discussion that night can inspire students to look at politics. Students have dreams and idealism so they must be given space for participation.

"Earlier there was one who asked in my opinion that it was quite critical, so I am proud because these children are what makes Indonesia in the future not worrying, because many people are intelligent," he said.

A member of the Indonesian Himapol, Irgi, said he was happy to meet and hear firsthand Ganjar's political experience. Irgi, who had participated in criticizing Ganjar regarding Wadas, was also inspired by the governor's efforts to solve every problem.

"Perhaps the political steps taken by Pak Ganjar can be an inspiration so that children when making decisions or political steps in the future are in accordance with the wishes and needs of the community," said the student at Universitas Brawijaya.

Irgi assessed that Ganjar Pranowo was a humble leader. Moreover, during the discussion Ganjar also responded well and could explain comprehensively every question.
