"This child even talks to himself, acts on his own, uses trash in the add-up (cash carpet), rips tissue, doesn't want to drink, doesn't want to eat," explained Rina.
On Wednesday (7/6/2023), at 04.58 Central Indonesian Time (WITA), N's mother asked about the water given by her neighbor. The neighbor admitted that the water was brought from the shop, but the communication did not work together because there was no more answer.
Positive for drugs
Seeing the strange condition of her child, N's mother gave the story through her Facebook account. TRC PPA East Kalimantan saw the upload after meeting N's parents.
They met on Wednesday afternoon (7/6/2023). At that time, N's mother said that her child was sweating in large quantities, more and more parts of the head that gave rise to a smell. Not only that, it was also explained that N kept screaming, didn't want to sleep, didn't want to eat and drink, and was more active than when he drank water from his neighbor. Rina said, N's mother said that her child could be paralyzed.
Rina then coordinated with members of the East Kalimantan PPA TRC who had faced problems such as N. After that, N's parents were shown to carry out urine tests. In the evening, N was taken to Atma Husada Mahakam Hospital, Samarinda.
"Halfeng jam menunggu, hasilnya(urase) positif memphetamine yang terdapat pada komponen sabu," kata Rina.
After that, N was transferred to Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Hospital for further treatment and opname.
The water given to N
Neighbors who distributed water to N admitted to taking the mineral water bottle from the shop. However, for one member of the East Kalimantan PPA TRC, Diah, the water N drank was not the same as the one commonly sold in the adrift stall.
"The shop sells water brand B, which is given to the child brand A. The mother has also confirmed to the shop owner that no water was brought from the shop," he explained.
Neighbors become suspects
After that, TRC PPA accompanied N's mother to inform the Samarinda Police on Thursday (8/6/2023). After holding a check regarding the problem of a narcotics positive baby, the police determined ST(51) as the defendant.
"We have examined 3 witnesses. One person we have determined is the defendant, who distributed the drink," explained Samarinda Police Chief, Kombes Pol. Ary Fadli.
