If The Report On The PPDB Broker Brings 2 Evidences, The Police Will Have A Criminal Process

The Palangka Raya Police take firm action against brokers in the process of accepting New Student Participants (PPDB) in schools which will soon be implemented in the new school year 2023-2024.

Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim) of the Palangka Raya Police, Kompol Ronny M Nababan, said that if there were unscrupulous people, both teaching staff from outside and others, they would immediately be dealt with firmly.

"If there is a criminal element in this activity, we will take firm action according to the applicable regulations," he said in Central Kalimantan (Central Kalimantan) Palangka Raya, Friday, June 9, which was confiscated by Antara.

Ronny said, if there are reports related to the matter in the jurisdiction, the police will not remain silent and will immediately follow up on the matter.

Moreover, the report submitted to the police is complete with two pieces of evidence, so investigators from the police will process and ask for information from the individuals involved so that later the case can be tried at the Palangka Raya District Court (PN).

"Yes, in my opinion, things like this should not happen, if this happens, of course it will make the world of education uncomfortable in our region only because of these individuals who have personal interests," he explained.

The police officer with the rank of jasmine one appealed to the entire community, especially parents whose children want to send their children to school in Palangka Raya, especially schools that are favorites who are desperate to do bribery things through brokers so that their children can enter the school.

"Once again I remind you, do not let the things we want happen. Because if this happens in admission to school, then we will also not remain silent and will take firm action," said Ronny.

Based on the information gathered, PPDB has been carried out by private schools and under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) of Palangka Raya City. Meanwhile, schools under the auspices of the Palangka Raya City Education Office (Disdik) will implement PPDB from 19-23 June 2023.
