In addition, Bank Mandiri also distributed environmentally friendly social financing to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with a value of IDR 123 trillion until March 2023 and financing other green projects worth IDR 2.8 trillion.
"Bank Mandiri also continues to develop sustainable products such as sustainability links to loans in debtors engaged in high-carbon emissions sectors such as the cement and livestock industry," he said.
With this financing scheme, Bank Mandiri hopes to encourage debtors to make a transition to more environmentally friendly business activities.
For the retail segment, Bank Mandiri launched a micro multipurpose credit product and a special credit card for the purchase of roof PLTS and the distribution of battery-based electric motorized vehicles in collaboration with Bank Mandiri's subsidiaries.
"The increasing awareness regarding sustainability issues, plus programs and incentives provided by the government in the future will encourage Bank Mandiri to continue to improve green financing and develop sustainable banking service products," he said.
