The Most Ford Sales From Kalimantan, This Is The Best Selling Type

JAKARTA - RMA Indonesia as Ford's brand-holding agency (APM) in Indonesia, recognizes that the largest markets Ford Ranger and Everest are in the Kalimantan region.

"The demand for Everest has so far been quite a lot like in Kalimantan, Jakarta, Bandung. The highest-selling type is Titanium 4x4," said Strategic Planning & Product Management Manager of RMA Indonesia, Aviandra Pradipta quoting Antara.

He also explained that Ford Everest vehicle users are still in a good draw for retail vehicles and also management operations engaged in mining.

Indeed, after Ford left the Indonesian market in 2016, RMA Indonesia was given the trust to take care of everything related to Ford vehicles in the country.

Requests for various Ford vehicles come mostly from loyal consumers in the country, so that in 2019 his party received permission to sell the Ford Ranger and Everest in the Indonesian market.

"Starting in 2019, we have received permission from Ford to resell products starting from the SLT and basic type Rangers that will be used for mining until 2022. We will get another permit to sell the passenger model, namely Everest," he said.

RMA Indonesia's journey to market Ford vehicles in Indonesia, brings sweet fruit by not only selling but building various networks that have spread across various cities in Indonesia.

"So the development is quite far, not only selling vehicles but also the development of the network dealer," he said.

In 2022, his party acknowledged that sales for Ford Everest reached hundreds. Even so, it has not been able to provide more in-depth data on its sales figures.

"In total, the sales of Rangers and Everest have reached hundreds of units (in 2022)," he added.

In this case, RMA Indonesia is still trying to be trusted to bring the various types of vehicles that Ford already has to market in Indonesia.

"In the next two years, it may still be Ranger and Everest. But it's possible to present other models. As we know outside there is a Ford Territory or it could be a commercial model like the Ford Transit," he concluded.
