AXA Mandiri Commitment To Increase Community Financial Literacy
JAKARTA - AXA Mandiri President Director Handojo G Kusuma said AXA Mandiri is committed to increasing public financial literacy through several social programs.
"Insurance literacy is an ability that everyone must currently have. Therefore, we believe that increasing literacy and insurance inclusion through the social initiative of AXA Mandiri can encourage economic development, social inclusion, and contribute to the economic health of a country," said Handojo quoting Antara.
One of the social programs that has been regularly held since 2018 is the Healthy Life Community Movement (GERMAS) program in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and Bank Mandiri.
GERMAS is intended to provide important insights and tips to communities in need through health activities, financial planning and skills training including for Micro, Small and Preventing Enterprises (MSMEs).
Apart from the literacy aspect, AXA Mandiri also combines social aspects into business activities as a form of the company's commitment to building company operations that have a positive impact on all parties.
One example is through the launch of Mandiri Secure CritCare Insurance (MSCC). The insurance, apart from providing protection for critical diseases in customers, also contributes to helping sufferers and cancer survivors in need.

"For us, the company's performance is not only limited to growth in business and financial aspects, but also in the positive values that we give to each stakeholder. We adhere to this principle in building sustainable business growth and realizing insurance products and services that provide benefits not only to policyholders, but to the community and the surrounding environment," said Handojo.
