Cadillac Introduces GT4 Compact SUV For China Market

JAKARTA - A luxury vehicle manufacturer from the United States, Cadillac, introduced a couple-SUV model for the Chinese market, GT4, in a compact style.

It is known, China has been one of the target markets from Cadillac for years. Reporting from Motor1, Monday, May 29, Cadillac GT4 has a compact size for SUVs with a length of 4,633 mm, a width of 1,878 mm, a height of 1,563 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,800 mm.

Offering a luxurious and modern style, Cadillac GT4 is expected to attract public interest, especially for young people in the Bamboo Curtain country. What's more, GT4 is equipped with a headlights that resembles the Cadillac flagship SUV, Lyriq.

In addition to offering a luxurious but modern design, Cadillac GT4 has some of the latest features, some of which are sound systems from AKG 15 speakers, 360-degree cameras, electric backdoors, head up display, digital rear mirrors, and a warm front seat that can increase the comfort of car users.

Cadillac GT4 has been equipped with hybrid technology by offering two 1.5 liter and 2.0 liter turbocharged mid-hybrid machine options by paired with an automatic transmission system of nine accelerations.

The competitor from Mazda CX-5 can power 208 dk and 270 Nm torque with a front-wheel drive system. Cadillac also offers a larger power option with 233 dk and 350 Nm torque.

Cadillac GT4 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour within 8.9 seconds for a 1.5 liter engine. Meanwhile, the 2.0 liter engine can cut 7.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km/hour.

Cadillac GT4 is sold with a tag starting from 219,700 yuan or around Rp464 million for the basic variant. For the top version, it costs 309,700 yuan or the equivalent of Rp654.3 million.
