Caring For Cultural Art, Ganjar Pranowo Has Been Named The Honorary Council Of Banten Cultural Arts
SERANG - Prospective president of the PDIP and PPP coalitions, Ganjar Pranowo has been named the honorary council of Banten cultural arts. He is considered one of the figures who cares about the preservation of cultural arts in Indonesia.
The inauguration was carried out by the Jawara and cultural arts figures of Banten at the Maiyah Cinta Budaya event with Jawara and the Banten Cultural Activist at GOR Maulana Yusuf, Serang, Saturday, May 27 evening. The awarding of honor was led directly by one of the well-known cultural figures of Banten, Abah Elanf Mangkubumi.
By Abah Elang, Ganjar was given a Ciomas machete, one of the typical weapons from Banten. The joke was received directly by Ganjar who was also present at the event.
"Pak Ganjar's figure is the right person. He is loved by his people and he loves every cultural value in the archipelago very much. Therefore, we as one of the cultural activists make him an honorary council," said Abah Elang.
Abah eagle said Ganjar Pranowo was a leader who was concerned about maintaining the values of the nation's culture. He made the nation's culture more important than anything else. "Because he is sure, Indonesia will never be sovereign if its culture is never maintained," he explained.
This concern convinced Jawara and cultural figures of Banten to pay their respects to Ganjar to become the honorary council. Because when Ganjar becomes president, he is expected to be able to protect all cultural arts throughout Indonesia.
"It is very important to have a leader who cares about culture. Because Indonesia consists of various ethnic groups. There are hundreds of ethnic groups and ethnic groups. If we never respect cultural values, then this nation will surely be destroyed," he said.
The giving of the Ciomas machete, continued Abah Elang, was a symbol of Ganjar's acceptance in Banten. The symbol is not defined as a symbol of cruelty, but a machete here is interpreted as a symbol of our strength, strength and vigilance.
"We hope that Pak Ganjar can be carried out in all the things he aspires to, so that we can have a leader who in our opinion deserves. Namely a president who was born from the people, loves the people and loves the arts and culture of the nation," he concluded.
Meanwhile, Ganjar Pranowo welcomed and thanked the warm welcome from the residents of Banten, especially the Jawara, cultural arts and village heads. He is optimistic that cultural arts will never disappear because there are still many people who care about the heritage of this ancestors.
"I'm happy that I was involved in a family that loves culture. Banten for me is extraordinary, because apart from being strong in religion, Banten also takes great care of cultural arts. Banten shows Bung Karno's spirit, has a personality in culture," explained Ganjar Pranowo.
