Shandy Aulia And Her Husband Agree That They Will Not Attend The Divorce Session So That The Judge Will Decide Quickly
JAKARTA - The divorce process for Shandy Aulia and her husband, David Herbowo is still ongoing at the South Jakarta District Court. The next trial is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 31.
Sandy Arifin as Shandy Aulia's attorney said that his client would not attend the upcoming trial. This has been agreed with the husband who will also not attend.
"From the client's side, Mbak Shandy's husband was not present," said Sandy Arifin at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Friday, May 26.
Shandy Aulia's attorney said that if the two principals were not present, the trial could be completed more quickly, so his client did not have to wait too long to be officially declared divorced.
"Mbak Shandy has given us confidence not to be present at the trial again and will provide a certificate. Mbak Shandy's husband will also not be present at the trial," Sandy said.
"So we will ask for the trial process to continue without them, because our special power of attorney to assist the mediation is all there," he continued.
Furthermore, Sandy said that there were no issues of custody and 'gono-gini' property in Shandy Aulia's divorce trial with David Herbowo. The lawyer said that the two things had been agreed upon beforehand.
Regarding children, Mbak Shandy agreed that outside the court they would take care of together, raise together and there is no such thing as prohibiting visiting or making it difficult to meet. They are both father or mother, they agreed to take care of together until adulthood," said Sandy Arifin.
"Regarding property 'gono-gini', in our lawsuit we don't include it. Children are cared for together, property is not in our lawsuit, because they have already discussed it outside the court," concluded Shandy Aulia's attorney.
