Plt Ketum PPP Strengthens Party Machine Consolidation In Central Java
JAKARTA - Acting Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) Muhammad Mardiono has begun to strengthen the consolidation of party machines in Central Java.
"After I was given the mandate for seven months, nationally from Aceh to Papua, our consolidation is good. Even all party organization instruments are engaged in carrying out PPP's democratic mission, namely listening to the voices of the undercurrent, both internally and with the figures," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 18.
This affirmation was conveyed by Mardiono when inaugurating the PPP autonomous body, namely the administrator of the Central Java United Development Women's Region (WPP) in Semarang, Thursday. The activity is coupled with the inauguration of the legislative candidates (bacaleg) of the DPR RI, provincial and DPRD level district/city levels.
"Some time ago, there was a survey agency that released that PPP's electability reached 4.1 percent. This means that what has been done has received recognition by the people and the people," he emphasized.
According to Mardiono, the current increase in PPP electability cannot be separated from the consolidation that has been carried out. He also promised to continue to move to pick up PPP's victory with all cadres throughout Indonesia.
"If you look at the spirit in Central Java at this time, it also occurs throughout Indonesia, including in Papua. All of Indonesia is moving, united, towards victory," he said.
Meanwhile, based on the results of a recent survey from Charta Politica Indonesia released on Monday (15/5/2023), PPP's electability was 4.1 percent.
Executive Director of Charta Politica Indonesia Yunarto Wijaya said the first time PPP got a number above the parliamentary threshold (PT).
"PPP for the first time in our survey surpassed the parliamentary threshold, which is 4.1 percent," he explained.
The survey was conducted on May 2, 2023 through face-to-face interviews with 1,220 respondents who were at least 17 years old or had met the requirements as voters and spread across all provinces in Indonesia.
The determination of the sample was carried out by a multistage random sampling method, with a margin of error of the survey of around 2.82 percent.
