Waskita Karya Wins New Contract Worth IDR 513 Billion From Project In Timor Leste
JAKARTA - PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk. won a new contract worth IDR 513 billion. The contract value was obtained from the Tono Market Road Improvement project towards Oesilo, which is Timor Leste which is directly adjacent to the Napan State Border Post (PLBN), Indonesia.
On Tuesday 16 May, the Groundbreaking Improvement and Upgrade Of The Existing Tono Market-Oesilo Border Road, With Two Existing Bridges, In Oe-cusse Region was held.
Director of Operations I Waskita Karya I Ketut Pasek Senjaya Putra said this project was one of Waskita's projects abroad.
He said, it would be as much as possible to work on this project.
"Of course we are very proud to be appointed to work on this project," he said in an official statement, Wednesday, May 17.
Furthermore, Ketut said this project would be carried out for approximately two years with Waskita's scope of work, including improving the quality of roads from Tono Market to Oesilo, Rehabilitating two existing bridges.
"As well as the construction of retaining walls and the strengthening of slopes as road security for landslides, considering that existing conditions are quite steep cliffs," he explained.
For the contract value itself, said Pasek, it reached around 33,915,000 US dollars or equivalent to Rp513 billion.
Pasek hopes that this project can be completed on time and with quality results.
The reason is, if the project is completed on time and the quality is good, it is not only Waskita's name that is proud but also Indonesia.
"We are sure that Waskita can complete this project on time and quality, of course, so as not to disappoint the Timor Leste Government. Because the good ending will later make Waskita's name proud, especially Indonesia," said Pasek.
