Pelindo Fully Supports Legal Process For Alleged Corruption Cases Of Dapen
JAKARTA - President Director of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo Arif Suhartono spoke about the determination of 6 suspects in the alleged corruption case of Pelindo Port and Dredging Company Retirement Fund (DP4) in 2013-2019.
Arif said that his party fully supports the law enforcement process by the authorities who are currently taking place in DP4 or Dapen Pelindo.
"We respect the determination of the status of the suspect and fully submit the legal process to the authorities," he said in an official statement received by VOI, Wednesday, May 10.
Arif said, the initiation of the audit of Dapen Pelindo came from management. This step is a proactive effort to eradicate acts of violation, including corruption within the company.
Arif added that the initiation of this audit aims to make dapen governance better, in line with SOE Minister Erick Thohir's program, which seriously reforms pension funds in SOEs.
Regarding Dapen Pelindo, Management initiated an audit of the 2013-2019 management by BPKP in 2020. BPKP then published audit results stating indications of fraud there and then reported Management to the Ministry of SOEs," he explained.
