Sandiaga Asks You To Be Patient About Coldplay Concert Certainty In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno invites the public to be patient in waiting for an official announcement from the organizer regarding the British band concert, Coldplay, which is planned for a concert in Indonesia.

"Friends, be patient, because in the next few days there will be an announcement, but of course this will be done by the organizers," said Sandiaga as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, May 8.

Sandiaga promised to facilitate the band concert fronted by Chris Martin.

Sandiaga also mentioned that many Indonesians who are looking forward to the concert of bands from abroad can be held in the country, so that people do not need to go abroad to have the opportunity to watch idol band concerts.

To accommodate the people's wishes, he continued, his party will prepare concert locations, including infrastructure to the readiness of human resources (HR) to serve large concerts.

Meanwhile, regarding the evaluation of concerts that took place some time ago, such as the concert of the idol group from South Korea BLACKPINK to the British rock band Deep Purple, Sandiaga will ensure the rules and preparations in detail and more mature.

"For BLACKPINK concerts, I said it was a success in general. However, there are still reports of several inputs that tickets are experiencing technical issues. I think we have coordinated directly with the event organizer (EO)," he explained.

Sandiaga will ensure that the facilities or venues used for international concerts such as GBK meet standards, including environmental standards from the government.

This includes ensuring that all stakeholders who can make Indonesia a major concert destination.
