Three Perpetrators Of Teenager Stabbing On The Tomang Flyover Finally Arrested
West Jakarta Metro Police managed to arrest three perpetrators of the stabbing that occurred in Jatipulo, Palmerah or to be precise the derivative of the Tomang flyover towards Jalan S Parman, West Jakarta.
"The first perpetrator with the initials BU acted as the main executor or the one who slashed the victim. The second perpetrator with the initials MGP was a motorcycle user riding with the main perpetrator and crashing his motorbike into the victim's motorbike. The third perpetrator with the initials MY, who played a role in paralyzing the victim by crossing the victim," said West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol M Syahduddi quoting Antara, Thursday, May 4.
Syaduddi continued, the incident took two victims. The first victim who died with the initials MSG (18) was a student from Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta. Meanwhile, the second victim with the initials AGP (16) was injured and is still undergoing treatment at the hospital is a student from Jatipulo, Palmerah, West Jakarta.
"For chronology, the stabbing occurred on Thursday (27/4) at around 02.00 in the morning. The first and second victims and their colleagues went hand in hand with three motorbikes and then met the group of perpetrators using nine motorbikes. The two groups then swiped. The group of victims was chased by the perpetrators and the first and second victims were left behind by the suspect group. The victim's motorbike fell and was then beaten and stabbed. The first victim died and the second victim was injured and was being treated at the hospital," explained Syaddi.
Syahduddi continued, after receiving the report, the Opsnal team from the West Jakarta Police conducted a crime scene investigation and collected evidence of supporting clues about who carried out the crime.
"From the results of the crime scene and taking statements from several witnesses and collecting other evidence through the victim's cellphone and CCTV footage from the crime scene, we managed to identify BU who was secured on Jalan Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta," said Sayduddi.
With the available evidence, continued Syahduddi, an investigation was developed to find other perpetrators. On April 28, around 00.30 in the morning, the West Jakarta Police managed to secure the second perpetrator (MGP) in the Indramayu area, West Java.
Then after taking information and deepening the suspects, the third perpetrator (MY) was also successfully secured in Temanggung, Bogor, West Java on April 29, 2823. Furthermore, the perpetrators and evidence were taken and secured to the West Jakarta Metro Police.
Syahduddi added that several pieces of evidence were secured, namely the sickle used by the perpetrator to slash the victim, the suspect's red motorbike, the victim's clothes and pants, and three ID cards belonging to the perpetrators.
"The perpetrators are threatened with Article 170 paragraph (2) of the 3e Criminal Code concerning persecution which resulted in death with a maximum penalty of 12 years in prison," concluded Syahduddi.
