LinkedIn's New AI Feature Can Create An Introductory Letter For Work Applications
LinkedIn has again added a new generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the platform by experimenting with features for job seekers.
The new feature will be able to generate short messages such as introductory letters that can be sent by candidates to recruitment managers on LinkedIn.
But unfortunately, this feature cannot be used on free users but specifically for premium subscribers on the platform.
Premium users will start viewing options like "Let AI create a draft message to the recruitment team" alongside open vacancies on LinkedIn's work page.
Then, the feature will view information from user profiles, recruitment manager profiles, job descriptions, and companies that are interested in making messages very personal.
"(But) adjustments remain important, so take time to review and edit the draft to suit your wishes and convey your voice, then send it to the recruitment manager, one step closer to your next opportunity," said Senior Director, Head of Core Growth and Premium LinkedIn, Ora Levit in a blog post quoted Wednesday, May 3.
Levit stated that the manager's messaging tool follows the announcement of LinkedIn which will use AI writing to strengthen user profiles.
LinkedIn continues to improve its platform in order to maintain users. Not long ago, the professional network also integrated two models of OpenAI's GPT language.
Chief Product Officer at LinkedIn, Tomer Cohen explained for LinkedIn profile, a new GPT-4 powerful tool will be offered to Premium customers who provide advice on what should be written on the About and Title section.
As for recruiters, LinkedIn provides a GPT-3.5 powerful work description tool. This tool requires basic information including position, company name, workplace type, type of work, and location, and then generates a work description.
