Synopsis Of Angel Film: We All Have Dreams, Ready To Show May 4
JAKARTA - The sequel to the film My Total Brother, Angel: We All Have Dreams of being ready to hit theaters on May 4. This film produced by Fast Film tells the story of the struggle of a person with disabilities in achieving a dream until it finally makes it happen.
"I made this film because I wanted to provide quality shows. Of course, with educational films that have a good impact on all Indonesian people," explained Hamdhani Koestoro as producer of Fast Film, quoted from ANTARA, Tuesday, May 2.
The film Angel: We All Have A Dream This tells the story of a girl named Angel who experiences sadness after the death of her older brother. Even when he died, his brother also donated his organs to Angel.
Apparently, Angel is still under deep trauma. Angel felt that she could not forgive herself after often ignoring and demeaning her brother. This time, Angel has grown older after graduating from high school and will soon continue her studies in Jogja.
While in Jogja, Angel again met with a disabled person who reminded himself of his late brother. This person named Andro who has an autistic mental retardation like his brother used to be.
After meeting Andro, Angel was motivated to correct mistakes in his past. He also helped Andro to pursue his goals that he had never been able to realize because he did not get permission from Andro's mother.
Hamdhani explained that the number of negative stigmas for people with disabilities or special needs, especially among teenagers, encouraged his party to raise this story on the big screen.
"If we see how Indonesian teenagers are, they have no empathy for people with disabilities. Through this film, I want to show that there are still many people who have empathy for others," explained Handhani.
This film stars Cut Beby Tsabina as Angel, Ari Irham as Miko and Fico Fachriza as Andromeda.
