After the game ended, Sky Sports said the Liverpool manager had to undergo treatment on his hamstring.

Klopp told Sky Sports he was very emotional especially after Spurs scored their third goal in the 93rd minute. He also explained why he approached the game when celebrating the goal.

"I don't know (the problem) what Mr Tierney has with us, he will always say it's nothing, and that's not true. How does he see me, I don't understand, I really have no problem with anyone and with him either," Klopp said.

"But once again, he was a referee at Tottenham, when Harry Kane didn't get a red card. I don't want him to get a red card, but it's a red card."

"My celebration was directed at the fourth official, did not say bad words, and was immediately punished for it and I withdrew my current hamstring quite well," he continued.
