In The Aftermath Of Dishub Members Persecuted, Joint Officers Of Illegal Jukir Raids In Monas Area

Joint officers from the Gambir Police conducted raids on illegal vehicle parking in the National Monument (Monas) area, Central Jakarta. Officers also secured 2 illegal parking attendants (jukir) who set parking rates of IDR 20 thousand per vehicle.

Gambir Metro Police Chief Kompol Mugia Yarry Junanda said the Monas area began to see quite a lot of community activity during the post-width holidays. This moment is used by proliferating illegal vehicle parking.

"It is suspected that we have secured 2 illegal parking attendants, there are several pieces of evidence that will be secured later for further investigation. The money (parking) withdrawn to the community is around 20 thousand per vehicle," said Kompol Mugia when confirmed, Sunday, April 30.

To anticipate the emergence of illegal parking bags, the Gambir Metro Police and 3 pillars will continue to intensify raids.

"To the people who will visit around Monas, please use the official parking bag that has been provided and do not be tempted that parking on the side of the road is safe and there will be no action," he said.

Previously, a wild jukir was arrested by the Gambir District Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) for stabbing using a sharp weapon.

The incident occurred when the perpetrator with the initials R did not accept it because the parking lot was brought under control by officers on Thursday, April 28, evening.

As a result of the incident, one of the Sudinhub officers suffered an incision wound to his hand. Officers have been taken to the puskesmas for treatment.

"Our members only had a cut on the palm of their left hand with 6 stitches," said Head of the Gambir District Transportation Implementation Unit, Firdaus Burhanudin when confirmed, Friday, April 29, in the early hours of the morning.

Meanwhile, the perpetrators and the evidence of the weapons were handed over to the Gambir Metro Police.
