Reviewing Backflow At Bakauheni Port, Coordinating Minister For Human Development And Culture: There Are Some Adjustments To Launch Crossing Services
LAMPUNG SELATAN - Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK), Muhadjir Effendy, conducted a backflow inspection of travelers at Bakauheni Port, South Lampung, Lampung.
"Currently, I am at Bakauheni Port to ensure that the crossing service from Sumatra Island to Java on the backflow runs smoothly," he said in Bakauheni on Tuesday.
He also stated that private vehicles still dominate the density of travelers after D+2, but large vehicles are not yet visible.
"Based on my observations, until D+2, these large trucks have not moved across to Java Island," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 25.
Muhadjir said that his party and ASDP and related agencies would adjust policies related to backflow at Bakauheni Port.
"There are several policy adjustments that I suggest for policies, including those of yesterday's homecoming flow, where motorcycles were diverted to two ports, now we will apply them in the backflow like that," he said again.
President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ira Puspadewi said that his party had also implemented traffic engineering in the Bakauheni Port area.
"So if the term word waits, we at Bakauheni Port do implement it like that, so indeed what is called waiting is there, but we are in a situation like this waiting for an average of two hours, so it is impossible for people to just enter the port and immediately enter the ship," said Ira Puspadewi, in Bakauheni.
He appealed to ferry service users to buy Ferizy tickets from long before arriving at the port.
