A Akrobat Player In China Dies Falling, Warganet Urges Government To Tighten Supervision
JAKARTA - An acrobatic player died after falling from the air while pairing up with her husband in one of the shows near Suzhou City, Anhui Province, China.
From various video footage circulating on Chinese social media, the 37-year-old and Sun-style victim fell to the ground while appearing together in the air with her husband surnamed Zhang.
In an interview quoted by various Chinese media, Wednesday (19/4), Wang of the show company that employs the husband and wife stated that the experienced acrobatic couple got into an argument that night of the accident.
Sun did not tighten her seat belt so that she fell even though her husband tried to save her with both legs.
However, Sun's husband denied Wang's statement by saying that there was no fight and his relationship with his wife was fine.
The results of an investigation conducted by the Yongqia District apparatus against Anhui Yaxi Performing Art Media showed that the show company did not comply with procedures and did not get permission from the relevant department so the show was considered illegal.
The investigative team also found the show company signed a contract with the victim and her husband on March 26 to appear on April 15 and April 16 in Yinlou Village.
On April 15, the company invited Sun and her husband to do acrobatics in front of spectators crowding the show.
