Revenue From The State Budget As Of March Is IDR 647 Trillion, All Grows Except For Cigarette Excise
The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) informed that the realization of state revenues until March 2023 was IDR 647.2 trillion.
Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani said that this number grew 29 percent compared to the same period in 2022 of IDR 501.8 trillion.
"This good state revenue is supported by an increase in all revenue sectors, except for customs and excise revenues that have contracted," he said while speaking to the media crew, Monday, March 17.
The Minister of Finance detailed that tax revenues managed to reap Rp432.2 trillion or the equivalent of 25.2 percent of this year's APBN target of Rp1,718 trillion.
"Tax revenues grew 33.8 percent year on year (yoy), where last year with the same period realized IDR 323.1 trillion," he said.
The Minister of Finance added that similar conditions also occurred in Non-Tax State Revenues, aka PNBP. Until March 2023, the value of PNBP collected was IDR 142.7 trillion. This figure has reached 32 percent of the current fiscal ceiling.
"PNBP rose quite high 43 percent from March 2023 which at that time was Rp99.2 trillion," he said.
Meanwhile, customs and excise revenues were recorded at Rp72.2 trillion, down 8.9 yoy from the previous Rp79.3 trillion.
This is influenced by the decline in cigarette production in January as a result of the adjustment of tobacco excise tariffs,
In general, last month's state revenue of IDR 647.2 trillion was equivalent to 26.3 percent of this year's APBN ceiling, which is set at IDR 2,463 trillion.
