Nikki Sixx Make Sure Motley Crue Working On New Music

JAKARTA - Nikki Sixx confirmed M\"otley Cr\"ie was in the studio and working on new music.

The founding member and bassist from the hair metal icon shared a photo of himself, drummer Tommy Lee and new guitarist John 5 in the songwriting session.

Sixx also said the band was working with producer Barry Pointer.

The bassist shared the photo on Thursday night, April 13 before following up with more news a day later.

The author of Too Fast For Love said the band is gearing up to "record some songs" this week

Through its Twitter page, Sixx confirmed that Cr\"ie is writing new music even though Mick Mars co-founder is out fiercely.

"We'll go to a big studio next week and record some from the floor and see where it's going," he added.

However, this may not necessarily be a confirmation of a new album, as Sixx added: We don't have a definite plan right now. Let the songs guide us.
