Strengthening Markets In Indonesia, Chery Prepares 12 Models Until 2025
JAKARTA - After launching Omoda 5, PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) is getting serious in competing in the Indonesian automotive market. Chery is ready to launch more cars.
Unmitigated, the Chinese company will release as many as 12 new models in the middle of this year until 2025. Some of these models consist of fuel engines, electric cars, and hybrid.
Shawn Xu, as President of PT Chery Sales Indonesia, revealed that his party is one of the steps to strengthen the Chery network in Indonesia is to provide many choices to automotive consumers in the country.
"Giving many model options to Indonesian automotive consumers is one of Chery's steps to strengthen Chery's consumer network throughout Indonesia," Shawn Xu said in his official statement, Friday, April 14, 2023.
It is also reported that there are at least four models that will be present this year, most likely to be launched at the upcoming GIIAS 2023 event.
However, CSI is not yet willing to give release time from some of its newest models for this year. However, it is reported that the models to be launched are Tiggo 4, two facelift models, and Omoda BEV.
The other eight models will be launched in the period 2024 and 2025. The cars include two two-line REEV SUV models, one two-line PHEV model, one three-line REEV SUV model, one three-line ICE-powered SUV model, and three two-line ICE models.
