BMKG: 6.6 Magnitude Earthquake In Northwest Tuban, East Java, No Tsunami Potential
JAKARTA - An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 occurred in the Java Sea, precisely 68 km northwest of Tuban, East Java at 16.55 WIB, Friday, April 14.The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) noted that the earthquake was centered at 6.29 south latitude, 111.92 east longitude with a depth of 632 km."The earthquake has no potential for a tsunami," said BMKG quoted from the official Twitter @infoBMKG
