Motorcycle Robbers In Pondok Aren Confess Police To Their Victims, Threaten To Use A Gun But Those Who Leave The Sickle

TANGERANG - A viral social media video shows the burglary in front of the Basic Food Shop, Jalan Pondok Kacang, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang. In the video uploaded by the @Info_Ciledug account, a group of teenage girls and boys can be seen visiting the Honda Beat motorcyclist.

At the time of the incident, the victim and his friend were suddenly approached by the perpetrator who came riding on three motorbikes.

The perpetrator then took out the gun from his bag and threatened the victim while claiming to be a police officer. Feared, the victim immediately handed over his cellphone and motorbike to the perpetrator.

"Suddenly he pulled a gun out of his bag, he said, he told me I was the police. Let's go to the police station! My friend was afraid that after that he immediately took my cellphone and motorbike. Some of them brought sickles too," said the victim.

After seizing cellphones and motorbikes, the perpetrator fled and left the victim on the side of the road.

Contacted separately, the Head of Public Relations of the South Tangerang Police, Ipda Galih confirmed the incident. His party is currently investigating the case.

"Witnesses of the shopkeeper confirmed the incident. Now the case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pondok Aren Police," said Galih in a short message, Friday, April 14.
