Ormas In Kebayoran Lama Asks THR To Use Letter, Police Chief: That's A Proposal

JAKARTA - Kebayoran Lama Police Chief Kompol Widya Agustino spoke up regarding the circulation of leaflets requesting holiday allowance funds (THR) from one of the community organizations (Ormas) in his area.

Kompol Widya admitted that he had met representatives of mass organizations who were suspected of asking the company for THR levies. When clarified, the mass organization acknowledged the issue of the circular.

"What are we going to clarify, sir? Yes sir, this is a proposal, sir, there is no coercion like that, if given by Alhamdulillah, if not, that's okay," he said. To date, we haven't had any objections, nor is it comprehensive," said Kebayoran Lama Police Chief, Kompol Widya Agustino when confirmed, Sunday, April 9.

Nevertheless, Widya emphasized that if there are residents or companies that feel there is coercion due to the collection. He asked to immediately report his party, so that it can be followed up.

"Later, when someone comes to completion or objections, we will definitely follow up, we will take firm action. We emphasize the nature of the proposal, not to be intimidated or forced like that. If you are advised, thank God, no matter how accepted, but never have a benchmark or coercion like that," he concluded.

Previously, it was reported that a letter of application for holiday allowance (THR) was allegedly from a community organization (ormas) in the Pondok Pinang area, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. Even in the letterhead, the name of the mass organization was written. Then it appears that the THR application letter is listed on the date of submission Tuesday, April 4, 2023.
