Megawati: Let's All Seriously Work For The Interest Of The People!

PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri reminded party cadres to continue to get closer and work for the benefit of the people to become Indonesia's pioneer party and milestone.

"If everyone is present, all have one taste and want to work downwards, in the midst of the people, we can definitely become a pioneer party," Megawati said in a statement received in Jakarta, Saturday.

Megawati reminded party cadres who sit in the DPR RI to really seriously work to prepare themselves for the 2024 General Election. Everyone must remember and support the principle that PDIP is part of the pillars of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Let alone no matter how many political parties are in Indonesia, the PDI-P must be part of the state pillar. This means that whenever this country exists, the PDI-P must become a pioneer party that is the milestone of this country," Megawati said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, April 8.

In addition, Megawati reminded members of the DPR RI to follow party rules. Megawati invited her to stay in the field. However, must remain disciplined.

"So do the discipline of theory, movement discipline, and action discipline. Remember, avoid comfort zones. Once we are complacent in the comfort zone, the desire to progress will run out. Then we must continue to learn, be dynamic, and be creative," said Megawati.

For Megawati, in the midst of the duties of PDIP faction members in parliament and going to the people, they must strengthen their ideological and geopolitical understanding so that in taking a stand when responding to various global and national situations, PDIP cadres can be firm in holding the nation's ideology.

"Why should we be political people if we don't learn and understand how Indonesia's history, geopolitical theory, and how it is," said Megawati.

Facing the 2024 General Election, Megawati reminded all PDIP cadres to help each other in the field.

"Political is dynamic. So we must always anticipate. We must not sit quietly, continue to move," concluded Megawati.
