Madrid's Moment To Get Rid Of Barca Makes Ancelotti Can't Wait To Lift The Copa Del Rey Trophy

JAKARTA - Real Madrid successfully eliminated Barcelona to advance to the Copa del Rey final. The achievement of this arch-rival made Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti even more impatient to be able to immediately lift the trophy.

In the semifinals of the second leg of the Camp Nou Stadium on Thursday 6 April, Los Blancos managed to get revenge for Barcelona. Previously they lost 0-1 when they appeared at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the first leg.

In this meeting, in fact Madrid managed to qualify for the final with an aggregate of 4-1. Madrid's victory was thanks to Vinicius Junior's goal in the 46th minute and Karim Benzema's hat-trick in the second half in the 50th, 58th and 80th minutes.

Success in advancing to the Copa del Rey final will also be a special moment for Ancelotti. The reason is that it will be an opportunity for the 63-year-old coach to complete the Copa del Rey trophy with Madrid after winning it in the 2013/2014.

"We have to stay on track and I'm sure we will succeed in getting the trophy we want," said the former AC Milan coach.
