Acting Governor Heru Affirms Official Cars Should Not Be Brought Home For Eid

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono emphasized that all ASN in the DKI Provincial Government are prohibited from bringing official cars for Eid homecoming purposes."Official cars that are taken home are not allowed, let alone taken out of town, they are not allowed," said Heru at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Thursday, April 6.This year, the government has not issued a special issue regarding the prohibition on the use of official cars for homecoming. However, Heru said the prohibition still applies and is not different from the Circular Letter of the Minister of PANRB Number 13/2022 concerning State Civil Servant Leave During the National Holiday Period and Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijri.In a circular signed by the Minister of PANRB Tjahjo Kumolo on April 13, 2022, it was stated that the Civil Service Guidance Officers (PPK) in each government agency should ensure that all officials and employees do not use official vehicles for homecoming, holidays, or other interests outside of service interests.ASNs who continue to carry official cars for homecoming will be considered to have violated and subject to written or administrative sanctions. Not only that, there are also sanctions in the form of deductions to delay the disbursement of additional employee income allowances (TPP)."Directs from year to year, for official vehicles and operational vehicles, it's not allowed to take them home," explained Heru.Based on the Regulation of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment Number 87 of 2005 concerning Guidelines for Efficiency and Discipline of Civil Servants, official vehicles are ASN work facilities to support the administration of state government.
The use of official vehicles is regulated as follows:a. Operational Service Vehicles are only used for official purposes that support the main tasks and functions.b. Operational Service Vehicles are limited to use on office working days,c. Operational Service Vehicles are only used in cities, and exceptions for use outside the city with written permission from the leadership of the Government Agencies or officials assigned according to their competence.
