Ram's Electric Pickup, Incar Ford F-150 Lightning

JAKARTA - In the prestigious automotive exhibition in the United States, the New York Auto Show 2023 (716 April) Ram will carry a large pickup car, namely 1500 REV. Ram also confirmed that the pickup was an Electric Vehicle (EV).

The 1500 REV Ram is available in five trims, namely Tradesman, Big Horn/Lone Star, Laramie, Limited, and the top Tungsten. This car features several features such as the 23-peaker Clipsch stereo, power tailgate, indigo/sea salt interior coating, Suede headliner, and metal trim in the cabin.

Monitoring the interior, 1500 REV is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch passenger screen, and a 12-inch standard info screen. Other technologies are a digital rearview mirror and a 10-inch HUD display.

Ram provides two battery options for 1500 REV, namely 168 kWh which can reach a distance of 563 km and a maximum of 229 kWh which can go up to 804 km in one charge.

Another specification, reported by Motor1, Wednesday, April 5, is that the electric pickup is also equipped with two electric driving modules with a power of 250 kW which combines the motor, gearbox, and inverters into one. One is driven by the front wheels, thereby increasing efficiency and the rear.

1500 REV is claimed to be able to eject 654 dk of power and 840 Nm of torque. This power is much larger when comparing Ford's electric pickup, F-150 Lightning, which only emits 580 dk of power. 1500 REV can accelerate from 0-100 km/hour within 4.4 seconds.

This electric pickup also offers a fast charging system, DC 800 volts to 350 kW. To charge a distance of 160 km, charging only takes 10 minutes.

The brilliant performance in the pickup is also accompanied by the suspension offered. Ram installed an active-levelling air suspension with adaptive damping and a multi-link independent rear suspension that made this car tough from all terrains.

Moreover, the 1500 REV Ram is also provided with tires of all 22-inch terrain with a diameter of 275/50 strong Pirelli Scorpion.
