Twice More, YouTube Will Broadcast Six Coachella Stages This Year!

JAKARTA - YouTube has confirmed that the platform will for the first time broadcast live the sixth stage of the annual music festival and the Arts of Coachella Valley, which will be held in mid-April.

This is a huge progress made by YouTube. Because actually last year, YouTube also made a live broadcast of Coachella. But at that time, YouTube only broadcast three stages.

"This year we will be live streaming Coachella from more stages than ever with 6 in action feeds (doubling the number from last year) on both weekends," YouTube wrote on its blog, quoted Tuesday, April 4.

YouTube will start broadcasting the 2023 Coachella music festival live starting the first week which will take place on April 14 at 16.00 p.m. or on April 15 at 06.00 p.m. to April 16. Then, the second week will resume on Friday, April 21 to Sunday, April 23 at the same time.

"We're going to be there to capture all the moments that shouldn't be missed and share them with fans around the world via YouTube Shorts and across the platform so everyone gets the opportunity to have fun," added YouTube.

Whether you watch from home, from abroad, or at parties with friends, you can watch the Coachella YouTube Channel, and choose the stage to watch shows that take place directly with other fans.

On the sidelines of the set, YouTube will also provide field coverage of art, artists, installations, behind-the-scenes Shorts moments, and more for all audiences at home.

Not only that, just like the previous year, for YouTube Premium subscribers, YouTube has also prepared exclusive content, about behind the scenes of artists in preparing for their performances on the Coachella stage.

"Have you ever wondered how an artist is preparing a show? How do they choose their set list? Or if they have a ritual backstage? We did too, so we decided to register some of the most excited artists this year to give you an idea of their world before they perform," explained YouTube.
