The Family Of The Victim Who Was Killed Is Suspected Of Being Hit By A Child From The National Police, Shocked That His House Was Visited By The Police

JAKARTA - The family of the motorcyclist, Syamil (18) who died when he was hit by a Mercedes-Benz (Mercy) car driver admitted that he was shocked when his house was visited by the South Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit.

The victim's sister, N, said that the South Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit came to her house on Thursday, March 30, around night.

"Kasat came suddenly. Friday night or Thursday night. There were four people in the same ranks," N said when confirmed, Sunday, April 2.

N revealed that the purpose of the South Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit came to his house regarding an explanation of the accident that resulted in Syamil's death.

However, N also assessed that the arrival of the Satlantas Polres Metro South Jakarta was due to a case that resulted in his favorite brother going viral on social media.

"The initial goal is just to explain, to explain that, for example, have already carried out the process after the news rose in the media," he said.

Meanwhile, contacted separately, Kompol Bayu Marfiando said that his visit to the victim's family's house was not due to news that went viral in the media.

He said his arrival was to explain the process of investigating the accident case.

"My arrival there actually explains how far the process has gone. So the goal is that. It's not that we are afraid or after it goes viral, not really. Because he is viral, we have to answer. Because he may not understand several times," said Bayu.

Previously, it was reported that a traffic accident that resulted in the death of a Syamil motorcyclist because he was allegedly hit by a child of a police official in the Pasar Minggu area, South Jakarta, March 12.

N explained that the incident began when his younger brother Syamsil and his friend, Bayu, rode a motorbike from Cilandak to his house in the Pasar Minggu area, South Jakarta.

Suddenly a Mercedes Benz (Mercy) driver from Mampang hit a motorbike that was grabbed by Syamsil and Bayu on Jalan Masjid Almakmur No 99, Pejaten Timur, Pasar Minggu, Sunday, March 12.

The Mercy driver tried to escape but was chased by ojol (online motorcycle taxis) and residents. Finally got it, "said N when confirmed, Friday, March 31.

"(Meanwhile) my younger brother (Syamil) died on the spot. If one seems to be in critical condition," he continued.

Furthermore, Syamil and Bayu, as well as the perpetrators were also taken to Pasar Minggu Hospital, South Jakarta. However, upon arrival, the Mercy driver with the initials MMI was suspected to have disappeared.

"When we got to the hospital, who was the uncle visited, we didn't think about them. We thought our sister was, we cried hysterically, we didn't know she was going anywhere," he said.

Furthermore, N admitted to receiving a letter from the police regarding the perpetrator's data.

Then it was stated that the alleged perpetrator who drove Mercy's car lived in the Police Complex.

"We thought he was a police son, because the address was at the Police Complex. We got information that the perpetrator was suspected of being the son of a high-ranking police officer," he said.
