Wild Racing Leads To Persecution To Death, A Number Of Points In Singkawang Are Now Guarded By The Apparatus
The viral video of the persecution that led to one death at the illegal racing location in the Singkawang area, West Kalimantan (West Kalimantan), has made the officers clean up. Now a number of locations are often used as illegal racing arenas in Singkawang guarded by an integrated team.
Acting Mayor of Singkawang, Sumastro said the guard was carried out by an integrated team from elements of the TNI, Polri, Dishub, Satpol PP and Tim Merpati.
"After the brutal video from a group of illegal racing actions that ganged up on a Singkawang resident some time ago, we had to take quick steps to avoid this happening again," said Sumastro in Singkawang, Sunday, April 2, as reported by Antara.
"Moreover, the victim of the beating some time ago reportedly died, on Friday (March 31) afternoon, after undergoing treatment at Abdul Aziz Hospital Singkawang for six days," he continued.
Several locations that were of concern to the integrated team, among others, around the Vihara Tri Dharma Bumi Raya Singkawang, around the dragon statue, the Beringin Corner roundabout and the Prapatan Hotel as well as around the Agen Singkawang Bridge.
In addition to guarding, some teams also carried out patrols to ensure that Singkawang City was safe and conducive to illegal racing, especially in the holy month of Ramadan 1444 Hijri.
Then, focusing on the perpetrators of illegal racing, the integrated team also focused on controlling the exhaust brong or noise. "As a result, the supervision carried out from 00.00-03.00 WIB managed to catch as many as dozens of vehicles using Brong exhaust," he said.
Its users were forced to be stopped to be given education so that they would immediately be replaced with a standard exhaust. "If it is still found a second time, the integrated team will take firm action in the form of a ticket," he said.
Sumastro said that the supervision was carried out as a form of an integrated team to ensure that the illegal racing action in Singkawang City had to end.
"Likewise, for users of exhaust tracing or non-SNI, we will net everything," said Sumastro.
He also appealed to spare parts traders or motorcycle workshops to support the movement to end the use of racing exhausts. He also emphasized that the supervision carried out would continue until there was no longer any illegal racing in Singkawang City.
"We will carry out this education, guidance and action simultaneously," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Ops for the Singkawang Police, Kompol Andri Syahronie, said that there were four locations that were targeted for this active surveillance. "That is in front of Vihara Tri Dharma Bumi Raya, dragon statues, banyan corners and intersections of the Prapatan Hotel and agent bridges," he said.
The team was also formed into an integrated patrol team, consisting of Subdenpom, Polres, Satpol PP and Dishub to carry out appeal and control activities in places that are usually used as gathering places for teenagers to be asked to immediately return home if it is past 22.00 WIB.
"We are currently focusing on preemtiv and prepentiv including education to remind motorized vehicle users to complete their vehicles according to the rules," he said.
