South Japek II Toll Road Package 3 Will Be Operated Ahead Of The 2023 Eid Homecoming

JAKARTA - The South Jakarta - Cikampek II (Japek) II Toll Road Package 3 Sukabungah - Sadang will be operated before Lebaran in 2023. Hopefully, this operation can make it easier for the community during the Eid homecoming later.

With the presence of the South Japek II Toll Road Package 3, it is hoped that it will reduce the long density along the existing Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.

This was conveyed by the Director of Operation III of the Company PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, Warjo.

"Waskita hopes that with the opening functionally, it can further shorten the travel time of the community during the Lebaran homecoming," said Warjo in his statement, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 1.

As is known, the construction of the South Japek II Toll Road is divided into three packages, namely Package I Jati Asih - Setu, Package II Setu - Sukabungah, and Package III from Sukabungah - Sadang.

The South Japek II Toll Road is an access road starting from Jati Asih to Sadang. This toll road is integrated with the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) and Purbaleunyi Toll Road.

Later, there will be seven toll gates (GT) on this toll road. The seven GTs are GT Jati Asih, Bantar Gebang, Setu, Sukaragam, Taman Mekar, Kutanegara, and Sadang.

Previously, PT Waskita Beton Precast (WSBP) as a subsidiary of BUMN Waskita emphasized the acceleration of the completion of the third package of the Jakarta - Cikampek II expressway project.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Highways targets the South Jakarta Cikampek (Japek) II Toll Road in the Kutanegara - Sadang segment to operate in Lebaran 2023.

The South Cikampek II Jakarta Toll Road for the Kutanegara - Sadang segment, which has been functional for Eid al-Fitr 2023.
