KAPUAS HULU - Local wisdom typical of Kapuas Hulu Regency, West Kalimantan Province, has become the theme and concept of the construction of the Pangsuma Putussibau Airport terminal built by the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) this year.
According to the Head of Pangsuma Putussibau Airport, Rasidin in the concept of the construction of the Pangsuma Putussibau Airport terminal has the nuances of modern local wisdom, namely the combination of typical Dayak and Malay Kapuas Hulu.
"Currently in the auction process, it is estimated that mid-April 2023 has a contract for the physical implementation of its construction," he said at Putussibau Kapuas Hulu, reported by ANRATA, Saturday, April 1.
Rasidin said that the construction of the Pangsuma Airport terminal was sourced from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) of the Ministry of Transportation with an allocation of approximately Rp. 51 billion for the 2023 Fiscal Year.
He said the Pangsuma Airport terminal building would be built on two floors with an overall area of approximately 4,000 square meters.
"If we look at the landscape of planning the construction of the Pangsuma Putussibau Airport terminal, it can later become an icon of Kapuas Hulu, the concept of development is very interesting for modern local wisdom according to the wishes of the Regent so that the construction at our Pangsuma Airport raises local wisdom," he said.
He also mentioned that the construction of the Pangsuma Airport terminal will be equipped with supporting facilities that will provide security and comfort for passengers.
"With the new building for the terminal, of course, the service will be better, because our priority is the safety and comfort of passengers, especially if it is supported by adequate facilities," he said.
For this reason, he expressed his gratitude for the attention of the Minister of Transportation and his staff as well as the Chairman of Commission V of the DPR RI who has overseen and fought for development, as well as the support of local governments and all related parties.
"We always coordinate, both with the Ministry of Transportation and also the local government and Commission V of the DPR RI, so that the development plan will be realized this year," said Rasidin.
He hopes that all development processes can run smoothly in accordance with applicable regulations, so that support from all parties, including the community, is needed so that development in Kapuas Hulu will continue to grow.
