Rizal Djibran Submits Evidence Of His Wife's Slander When Examined By Investigators
JAKARTA - Rizal Djibran again visited the Polda Metro Jaya to undergo an examination of the report against his wife, Sarah. After Friday prayers, the 45-year-old actor was examined by investigators from the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimum) of the Polda Metro Jaya for 3.5 hours.
"We were summoned to clarify the report we made yesterday, March 15, 2023. Earlier, about 3.5 hours we were examined, approximately 18 questions have been answered and provided evidence," said Machi Achmad as Rizal Djibran's attorney when met at Polda Metro Jaya, Friday, March 31.
Machi said that his client had provided some evidence related to defamation and slander that Sarah had committed against her client. One of the evidence submitted is media coverage.
"The evidence is information from friends (journalers), we tidy everything up, we collect it. There is also other evidence to strengthen our report," he said.
Furthermore, Rizal Djibran's attorney said that he had prepared 4 witnesses to undergo today's examination, but due to time problems, witness examination will be rescheduled.
"We are witnesses, there are 4 people, later there will be another reschedule, because we were involved in Friday prayers. The witness was about to slide (to Polda Metro Jaya), only for a short time, so we set the time again," said Machi.
Rizal Djibran himself told how his relationship with Sarah is now. He admitted that he had been separated since November 2022, and had no longer communicated with each other.
"It's been a long time (last communication), before this case emerged, my cellphone was blocked by him and his family. So there is no communication," he said.
Although he stated that he had forgiven his wife who was deemed to have defamed him and slandered him, Rizal Djibran insisted that the legal process would continue.
"Whatever has been going on in this legal process, yes, as good citizens, we must also enforce it. As a result, we are still in the process," concluded Rizal Djibran.
