Revuelto Receives Lamborghini Aventador's Estate
JAKARTA - The supercar manufacturer from Italy, Lamborghini finally officially introduced the name Revuelto, the latest model to continue the glory of Aventador.
From Lamborghini's official website, Revuelto is the first car to fill the ranks of the High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) for the manufacturer. Revuelto was also made to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Lamborghini.
"For Revuelto, we invested around 150 million euros in new production and technology areas, reaching a size of more than 170,000 square meters and this expansion was carried out without disrupting the business continuity of the factory," said Ranieri Niccoli, Chief Manufacturing Officer Lamborghini on Twitter, March 30, 2023.
Carbon fiber is the main structural element in Lamborghini Revuelto's production. Not only for car chassis and frame but also for all bodywork elements other than doors and bumpers.
From the exterior side, as a beginner in the world of supercar Revuelto slightly followed the style of Aventador. However, Lamborghini pinned a horizontal "Y" light on the front which is the latest identity.
From the side, at first glance it is not much different from its predecessor. However, the appearance on Revuelto's side looks more aggressive and stiff. Then moving on the back, the design adopts a little Huracan. However, the shape of the back is somewhat elongated like another Lamborghini 12-cylinder racing car, Essenza SCV12, and adding a diffuser.
Revuelto is equipped with a PHEV V12 6,500 cc naturally-assisted engine plus three electric motors with a 3.8 kWh battery. Revuelto can produce up to 1,001 dk of power and 725 Nm of torque. Thanks to the performance of the eight acceleration double coupling transmission, Revuelto can accelerate from 0-100 km/hour in 2.5 seconds. As a result, the maximum speed is 350 km/hour.
The V12 engine has been part of our history from the start. That's what moved our car and made it an icon in the automotive industry," said Lamborghini CEOSTEphan Winkelmann.
Lamborghini also provides driving mode options for drivers, namely Recharge, Hybrid, Performance, Citta, Strada, Sport, and Corsa.
There has been no confirmation regarding the price when it was launched. It is estimated that the car will sell for $ 500,000 or around Rp. 7.6 billion.
