Spotify Launches Niche Mixes To Create A Personalized Playlist

JAKARTA - The music streaming service and the Spotify podcast launched a new feature called Niche Mixes, a collection of personalized playlists for each user.

So, in general, the Niche Mixes allow you to ask Spotify to create personalized mixtures for yourself based on some words of description in the Search tab.

For example, you can type in the activity keyword or aesthetic, then Spotify will automatically create a mix playlist that matches the keywords you mentioned.

"We give listeners access to tens of thousands of Mixes unique to them based on, well, almost everything they can think of," Spotify wrote in an announcement on its official website.

To access the Niche Mixes, you just need to open the Search tab, then select the "Made for You" hub, to find the 5-10 Mix that Spotify says you're going to like.

If you want to be very specific, look for activities, vibrations, or aesthetics that describe your moment, then add the word "mix" at the end. Don't be ashamed.

Niche Mixes is an expansion of Spotify's Mixes feature after the company had previously released a personalized Mix "Heart ATMOSPHERE", a special Mix Decade, and also a Mix Genre.

"Whatever the moment or event, you will receive a personalized Mix rooted in familiarity, combining music from artists, genres, and decades that you already know and love with songs that we think you will enjoy that match those moments," the company continued.

Niche Mixes is now available globally to all users, both Free users and Premium users.
