The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police is investigating the case of alleged changes to the substance of the judicial review case of the Constitutional Court (MK) which involved constitutional and clerk judges. Originally, the case was reported to the Polda Metro Jaya. Then transferred to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. "The report was being investigated," said the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Komjen Agus Andrianto, to reporters, Tuesday, March 28. In that case, 11 people were reported. 9 of them were constitutional judges, 1 clerk, and 1 substitute clerk. The report was originally registered with the number LP/B/557/II/2023/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya, dated February 1, 2023.
Meanwhile, for the next handling of the case, Agus said he would follow the applicable rules. This is because the examination of constitutional judges must have the permission of the president. "We follow the rules," said Agus.
