KPK Reveals Corruption At The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources Regarding Payment Of Performance Allowances
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating allegations of corruption at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. It is suspected that there was fraud related to the payment of employee performance allowances at the ministry led by Arifin Tasrif.
"At the investigation stage related to allegations of corruption in paying employee performance allowances at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for the 2020-2022 Fiscal Year," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, Monday, March 27.
It has not been specified who the alleged corruption suspects are. However, the KPK said there was more than one number.
"We make sure that several parties have been named as suspects," said Ali.
"However, the parties named as suspects, the full description of the alleged criminal charges, we will convey if the collection of evidence by the investigative team has been fulfilled," he continued.
As previously reported, the KPK searched the office of the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources on Monday, March 27. It has not been detailed what findings they got from the process.
Later, the evidence obtained from the search will be submitted to the public. The public is asked to be patient and continue to monitor these activities.
