Mahfud MD Was Summoned By The DPR, Wednesday Tomorrow Promises To Dismantle IDR 349 Trillion Transactions From The Ministry Of Finance
Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menkopolhukam) Mahfud MD said he would fulfill the DPR's summons in a Meeting with Opinions (RDP) next week or Wednesday, March 29. Meanwhile, the call was related to the odd transaction of Rp. 349 trillion at the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu).
"Anyway, Wednesday I came (to the DPR)," Mahfud told reporters, Saturday, March 25.
In addition, Mahfud also asked the parties who had complained about the odd transaction to attend.
The goal is that the transaction problem worth IDR 349 billion can be discussed comprehensively.
"Yesterday, the one who spoke a bit loud was to come too, so it's a draw," said Mahfud.
Commission III of the DPR has scheduled the summons of Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani, and Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) Ivan Yustiavandana on Wednesday, March 29, next week.
This summons was in the context of the meeting's invitation to discuss suspicious transactions of Rp. 349 trillion within the Ministry of Finance. Commission III wants to ask the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, the Minister of Finance and the head of PPATK to disclose the findings. Because the three are part of the National Committee for Money Laundering (TPPU).
"Commission III invited on March 29, Pak Ivan, the Minister of Finance, and the Coordinating Minister (Mahfud MD), the three of whom were members of the National Committee for Money Laundering," said Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR Ahmad Sahroni.
