BPOM Supervises Food And Beverage Safety To Break Fast In North Maluku
TERNATE - The North Maluku Food and Drug Supervision Center (BPOM) intensively supervises and ensures the safety of food/drinking for public consumption to open in the holy month of Ramadan 1444 Hijri.
Head of BPOM Sofifi Tri Wandiro said his party would check various foods and drinks that use various dyes containing harmful ingredients for health.
"We will make samples of various foods and drinks sold by traders in the holy month of Ramadan, so that no one sells food/drinking is dangerous for health," he said, quoted by ANTARA, March 25.
He continued, samples of a number of foods and drinks that were considered very crowded were bought by the public and clinical trials would be conducted to ensure that food/drinks sold were safe for consumption.
"In addition, if it is found that the sale of takjil uses unsecured materials for health, of course the trader will be given guidance through education," he said.
Previously, BPOM carried out a joint movement of mobile complaint services that meant it was important to empower the community/consumers and together with BPOM Sofifi to be able to supervise and test food products around the community.
In addition, his party cooperates with the sub-district to intervene so that they are free from the misuse of hazardous materials that are used at risk of health.
Saat ini, BPOM juga meminta pengawasan masyarakat sendiri sangat penting dilakukan karena pada akhirnya masyarakat yang mengambil keputusan untuk membeli dan menggunakan sebuah produk.
